"I took hundreds of photographs at The Lacquer Chest on various visits,
trying to get to know its many nooks and crannies. Watching the sunlight move from the front of the building,
where it bathed the glassware perched on glass shelves across the tall windows, to the back where it
gave life to a yellow chair. It has a tranquil atmosphere, full of beautiful objects I wanted to take home.
What a pity that they don't hire for private dinner parties."
